Welcome

What’s this blog about?

This blog celebrates diverse narratives and explores the mind-body connection in an effort to understand the human experience. As the field of mental health is often homogenized in its approaches, I hope to contribute a unique, inclusive perspective.

Each month I write a new series of articles that are published weekly. My content summarizes psychology and neuroscience principles behind relatable topics, and I share about my unique journey in the field of mental health. You can find the latter posts on the page titled, “My Journal.”

Who’s the author?

My name is Sana and I’m a passionate psychotherapist who holds an independent LPC license in the state of Texas. I graduated with my B.S. from the University of Michigan in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience. Additionally, I earned my M.A. from Boston University in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine.

I hope that my writing inspires, challenges, and empowers you. Please subscribe to my blog and share your experiences through posting comments!
